✨ Individually Hand-Turned from Solid Hardwood
Unlike mass-produced coasters cut from cheap MDF or sheet materials, each of our coasters is individually turned one at a time from 100% solid hardwood. The timber is shaped on a traditional woodturning lathe, then meticulously sanded and finished by hand to create a smooth surface and elegantly rounded edges.

Because every coaster is made from a genuine piece of natural timber, the grain patterns, colour depths, and markings will naturally vary. This gives each piece its own unique character, ensuring no two are ever alike.

- American Walnut: Rich, dark brown tones with attractive, flowing grain.
- English Oak: Traditional, hard-wearing timber with plenty of natural character.
- Cherry: Warm, reddish-brown tones that naturally deepen beautifully with age.
- Lime: Very pale, fine-grained timber—excellent for highly detailed engraving.
- Sycamore: Light coloured wood with subtle grain and excellent engraving contrast.
- Mahogany: Warm, rich colouring with an attractive, distinctive natural grain.

Note for large orders: We carefully match the timber as closely as possible, though natural variations are to be celebrated.
