Leather Burnisher & Drum Sander Bundle

Armitage Leather and Just Wood have teamed up to create this professional Leather Burnisher and Drum Sander Bundle, designed for leatherworkers, leathercraft enthusiasts and workshop users who want to sand, shape and burnish leather using a suitable bench grinder or rotating machine.

The bundle combines a 7-groove professional leather burnisher with a 75mm sleeveless drum sander, providing two useful workshop tools for leather edge finishing, sanding and shaping.

Professional 7-Groove Leather Burnisher

The precision-crafted leather burnisher features seven popular groove sizes:

Unlike fully rounded burnishers, the grooves are intentionally shaped to gently round the corners of the leather without excessively doming the edge.

This helps produce:

A stronger, more durable finish
A clean and even leather edge
A sharp, defined surface line
Consistent results across different leather thicknesses

The burnisher is supplied with a long collet designed to fit most 12.7mm (½") shaft grinders. Alternative collet sizes are also available.

The collet is securely fixed inside the burnisher. An extra-long grub screw locks both the collet to the machine shaft and the burnisher to the collet, providing additional security and stability during operation.

75mm Sleeveless Drum Sander

The bundle also includes a 75mm × 75mm sleeveless drum sander with a ½" (12.7mm) bore, designed to fit directly onto a compatible bench grinder or other suitable machine with a matching shaft.

The drum sander:

Uses a 75mm-wide abrasive sanding strip
Is held and tensioned using an elliptical locking key
Is secured to the shaft with a grub screw
Has an internal depth of 38mm

The drum sander is suitable for sanding, shaping and finishing leather, as well as woodworking and other workshop applications.
