This is for a single wooden tap 2,1/2 inches in length (63mm) and is suitable for hole diameters 9mm-12mm. They are made from boxwood & high quality cork to prevent leaks.

Without repeated protective treatment, untreated wooden items exposed to water and/or weather will degrade quickly.
To expand the life span of your tap, we recommend using a breathable wood preservative designed for outdoor use (something that repels water but lets the wood breathe).
Best options:
o Danish oil or linseed oil (raw, not boiled) → soaks deep into the grain, enhances natural waterproofing
o Tung oil (more expensive but very durable)
o Specialist decking oils (e.g., Osmo Decking Oil, Ronseal Decking Oil) — formulated for UV and water resistance
Avoid varnishes or paints — they trap moisture inside and can accelerate rot.
