Armitage Leather & Just Wood have created the next high quality leather tool in their range for Leather Craft Workers - A Hand Slicker tool.

There are two versions - one with FLAT grooves and one with ROUNDED grooves to ensure customers can select the best tool that works for them whatever the product they are making.

In addition to this, following the ethos, size matters… We have made the slicker bigger.

It is 7½ inches (190mm) long and 1¼ inches (32mm) in diameter, this makes the tool manageable and stable in the hand and gives a greater surface area when slicking.

Comprising 6 individual grooves - 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm & 10mm - being the most popular sizes for the majority of Leather Craft workers.

A lot of R&D went into producing a hand tool that actually fits in the hand and can be used effectively - “A Truly useful Tool”, according to one customer who was involved in the testing of the product.

The concept of slicking the edge of leather is not a new one, but little thought to the angle of the edges seems to have shone through with many tools available today.

Edges are important and this level of attention to detail can make an item standout from the rest.

Please note that the price is for two hand slickers, please leave a note with which version you require, (two flat, or one of each or two rounded).

Much like the Burnisher, few tools have this level of consistency for providing a detailed finish, to the point, we are so pleased with it, we have had it registered.
